Awarded the Yamanashi Industrial Grand Prize.

Denyo Kogyo was recognized for its contribution to the development of industry in Yamanashi Prefecture, and activation of the local economy. It also received a Yamanashi Industrial Manufacturing Grand Prize award for outstanding performance.

Theme of Award Application:

Small, lightweight resistance welders for the automobile industry.

Content of Award Application:

Development of small and lightweight welders to be used in automobile assembly lines.

Award reason:

Denyo Kogyo contributes greatly to the automobile industry, which is a key industry in Japan.

Denyo Kogyo has overcome technical barriers through original ideas.

A lot of future growth can be expected from Denyo Kogyo, both domestically and internationally.

As the result of fair and strict evaluation by the “Yamanashi Industrial Grand Prize Evaluation Committee”, Denyo Kogyo received the award, presented by Prefectural Governor Mr. Yokouchi , on Thursday November 18, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at “Yamanashi Technofair & Multimedia Expo” held at IMESSE Yamanashi. The committee is made up of professionals from inside and outside of Yamanashi Prefecture, of which Kazuro Kageyama, Director of Industry-Academia Collaboration at Tokyo University is the chair. Through receiving this award, all of our employees feel happy because we could contribute to the development of industry in our prefecture, and contribute to activation of the local economy.
